Founder and CEO
Mark Abraham is the founder and CEO of II Technology, bringing over 30 years of expertise in quantitative finance. From 1994 to 2016, Mark served as the Director of Research at Abraham Trading Company, initially focusing on developing systematic trading strategies in the futures markets and later shifting to forecasting model degradation and quantifying the research process. This work inspired Mark to launch II Technology in 2016 and formalize the development of his proprietary research methodology, Inductive Inference Technology. Mark leads II Technology in applying advanced quantitative techniques to enhance the investment process and support financial advisors in growing their practices.
Mark enjoys spending quality time with his wife and kids and has a passion for chess, occasionally competing in tournaments. His two children, both in high school, are active in rock bands—his daughter on drums and his son on guitar—and together, the family enjoys exploring Austin’s vibrant live music scene.
Director of Business Development
Chris King is the Director of Business Development at II Technology, bringing over 10 years of experience in the financial services industry. Chris began his career in 2013 as a Private Banker at Wells Fargo, where he assisted clients with their banking and investment needs. He then spent six years as Vice President of ETF Sales at First Trust Portfolios, providing market insights, portfolio analysis, and practice management consulting to financial professionals. At II Technology, Chris plays a pivotal role in expanding the firm’s reach, fostering strategic partnerships, and delivering tailored solutions that empower financial advisors to excel. His commitment to client success and deep industry knowledge make him an invaluable asset to the team.
Chris splits his time between Austin, Texas, and Minneapolis, Minnesota, enjoying the unique offerings of both cities. He stays active through hockey, running, yoga, and weightlifting, and loves spending time with his 100-pound rescue dog, Jerro. Currently, Chris is training for the Austin marathon in February 2025.
